It\u2019s also possible to install them<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sunbell.it\/tende\/come-montare-le-tende-senza-bucare-i-muri\/\"> <\/a><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sunbell.it\/en\/blog-en\/double-glazing-venetian-blinds-are-more-hygienic\/\">inside double glazing<\/a><\/strong>, a solution that can fix many issues, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sunbell.it\/tende\/come-montare-le-tende-senza-bucare-i-muri\/\"><strong>i<\/strong><\/a><strong>ncluding annoying drafts<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sunbell.it\/tende\/come-montare-le-tende-senza-bucare-i-muri\/\"><strong>.<\/strong><\/a><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Venetian blinds are<strong> practical and functional fixtures <\/strong>that, thanks to their versatility, can be used at home and in offices and commercial spaces alike.&nbsp;<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are many different<strong> solutions for building and installing your Venetian blinds.<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Choosing the most suitable system is usually based on factors such as dimensions, the position of installation, and the blind\u2019s location.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Let\u2019s take a look at how to make that decision.<\/strong><\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Installing Venetian blinds: top box<\/strong><\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Venetian blinds <\/strong>need to be installed using brackets <strong>to attach the blind\u2019s top box to the ceiling, false ceiling, wall, or window frame.<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>There are 4 different types of bracket:<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1. Hidden brackets for ceilings or walls<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This type of <strong>solution is the most popular <\/strong>as it\u2019s easy to install and has little aesthetic impact on the room. It is available for all types of <strong>Venetian blinds <\/strong>and features a base which is attached to the wall or ceiling using dowels and screws.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It also features a mobile part. By rotating around a pivot at the base, this mobile part holds the top box on the bracket, which then moves and is hidden almost completely behind the blind\u2019s top box.\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2. Hidden brackets for window frames<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This solution is very similar to the first one, but is <strong>designed for small and light Venetian blinds<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>with slats between 15 and 25 mm,<\/strong> including motorised ones, and for <strong>blinds made of fabric<\/strong>, mounted directly on the window frame &#8211; with a width of 15 mm even when installed inside the glazing bead.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Hidden brackets <\/strong>guarantee maximum practicality and minimal inconvenience.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This type of installation is also available in a variety that <strong>doesn\u2019t require drilling holes into the window <\/strong>frame &#8211; instead it can be attached directly to the top part of the frame.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However,<strong> because this system features a hook, <\/strong>it could<strong> still present a downside<\/strong> as it could potentially damage the top seal of the window frame.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another variant of the same solution uses <strong>adhesive material to attach the brackets;<\/strong> but drilling holes provides the safest, longer-lasting solution.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3. U-bolt brackets for ceilings\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This method is usually <strong>used for bigger and heavier blinds<\/strong> such as 50 mm Venetian blinds made of wood.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Using screws and dowels, the u-bolt is attached directly to the ceiling or false ceiling. The top box is then attached to the u-bolt and secured with a metal plate.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This method offers a<strong> safe and long-lasting solution, <\/strong>especially for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sunbell.it\/tende\/come-montare-le-tende-senza-bucare-i-muri\/\"><strong>exterior Venetian<\/strong><\/a><strong> <\/strong>blinds. It is also suitable for<strong> corner installations.<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>4. Box mounting bracket for walls or ceilings\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The system used for u-bolts can also be adopted for <strong>box mounting brackets. <\/strong>These are placed at the sides of the top box.&nbsp;<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This type of bracket, which can be installed both on the ceiling or false ceiling, can also be used in combination with u-bolts.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Methods 3 and 4 are more visible, which is why they are used for corner installations or exterior locations.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If these are your only feasible options, the brackets<strong> can still be hidden using wooden valances. <\/strong>These are<strong> <\/strong>usually installed with magnetic or interlocking systems placed on the blind\u2019s top box.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Venetian blinds <\/strong>might need <strong>other fastener methods<\/strong> &#8211; such as those featuring <strong>lateral guide rails.<\/strong><\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Installing Venetian blinds: guide rails<\/strong><\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These<strong> guides are usually nylon or metal cables <\/strong>used to keep the blind\u2019s bottom rail and slats in the correct position.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They are <strong>particularly used for exterior blinds <\/strong>to resist wind, or on blinds installed directly on the window frame, especially for transom windows.&nbsp;<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These guides can be installed in<strong> two ways.<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1. Fastening on wall or surface with metal brackets<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With this <strong>fastening system<\/strong>, the brackets are attached to the wall or other surface using screws and dowels.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The cable is then run through a locking system attached to the bracket.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2.
